Below average food selection, excellent staff though but the worst part is the actual establishment. It looks nice and inviting but the accoustics makes sitting there a horrific experience. The place wasn't even busy at the time i was there (1pm on a Monday) and there was perhaps 15 other customers at the time. Rhen accoustics make it so that you can hear every single conversation going on in the room, including the staff taking orders, but it all just turns into noise. Every sound echos around the room. They really need to put some sound dampeners in the ceiling or something. Some textile curtains or screens would do the trick as well.

Today (around 12:30 p.m.) I visited Costa Coffee in Castlebar. I ordered two large caramel lattes, but instead I was given a hot chocolate with orange flavor. Mistakes happen — that’s not a problem, we’re all human.
However, the staff’s attitude was extremely rude and unpleasant. Such behavior is unacceptable for a place with a good reputation.

Costa has always been a great place for me, but today’s shift left a very bad impression.
Please pay attention to training your staff to be polite and respectful to customers.
After today’s visit, I have no desire to come back.

Filthy! We walked in, had a customer say something snarky because we were trying to decide what we wanted. Used the restroom (it's locked, you have to get a code) and are our snack at a dirty table and I looked around and realized this was one of very few tables that hadn't been cleared. It was in disarray and you got the vibe that they just wanted you to get out

What has happened to this place? It used to be nice now it's a toilet. Filthy floors, tables not cleaned and staff who couldn't care any less. We used to come here regularly but this is our last visit. Simply awful.

Staffs on duty at the moment 16/6/26 needs customer service training and support from the management. Unhygienic utensils and messy workstation with poor customer engagement. Amazing place though.
